i often find myself worrying about things over which i have no control and very little about the things i can control.

it is only the third day of a new week.

the weather is predicted to be unpredictable, but there's nothing new there.

once upon a time i drove around and took some pictures. 

too clean

i finally broke down and cleaned my room last night. it had been far too long. i spent two hours working on it and the sad part is i didn't even spend any of that time organizing (like usual). it really took two hours to clean it up. here's the best part..it was ALL clothes and shoes. all of it. and all of the clothes were clean. isn't that great? my parents thought so. anyway, after i cleaned my room i tried to sleep (since by this time it was around 1 a.m.), and you know what? i couldn't. my room was/is too clean for me to sleep in. the neatness stresses me out now. i don't enjoy being in my room. i'm sitting here right now actually thinking about tossing some shirts on the floor to see if it will help. 

oh well. i'll get used to it. 

baptism

esther emma was baptized today. lunch at our house followed the service. an abundance of people came to fellowship and celebrate this day. we had good food. if i had a digital camera i could put up the pictures now. i guess we'll all have to wait...
